In most cases, the O-57419- Input Module will be used to control the power of certain low level DC devices. Examples of these such devices include: relay contacts, thumbwheel switches, push buttons, limit switches, buffered high speed CMOS, buffered LSTTL, and open collector TTL. The O-57419- Input Module’s faceplate has a total of 32 status indicator LEDs that show the status of each input. These input signals will be taken to the module by the use of a multi-conductor cable, which has the module number O-57375-. The faceplate is also home to a female connector socket. On the back of the O-57419- Input Module, you will find two edge connectors that are used to attach the module to the system backplane.

Reliance Electric created the O-57423- Common Memory module to be used within the AutoMax series of PLCs.The O-57423- Common Memory module is a required product if your AutoMax rack has more than one processor module connected with it. In this situation, you will need to connect the O-57423- Common Memory module into slot 0 of the AutoMax rack. The O-57423- Common Memory module stores the configuration data that will be shared among processors. This configuration includes the definitions of the physical I/O. This process will free the processor module memory for important application tasks. In addition to that, the O-57423- Common Memory module can arbitrate the processors’ access to the bus.
