The MOVITRAC 31C series inverter is a microprocessor converter modulated with sinusoidal PWM. They are used to control the rotation of gear motors and standard motors rated from 0.55 kW to 55 kW (0.75 HP to 75 HP). These units are connected directly to the three-phase AC power grid (3 x 200… 240 volts AC and 3 x 380 volts AC… 500 volts AC at 50 or 60 Hertz).
The output voltage is three-phase, up to the input voltage level, and the output frequency increases proportionally, up to an inflection point frequency adjustable between 50 Hz and 120 Hz (Option 3: 5… 400 Hertz). This feature allows the three-phase induction motor to operate at constant torque up to the inflection point frequency and at constant power above the inflection point frequency. Continuous reduction of the current limit above the selected bending frequency ensures that the three-phase AC motor does not block over a constant power range.
All electronic inputs and outputs are electrically isolated from the power supply. The electronic circuit is powered by a switching power supply, independent of input frequency, and operates above the input voltage range (80 VAC -10%)… 500 volts AC + 10%). The MOVITRAC 31C converter operation menu is similar to the provided and tested MOVITRAC 3000 converter menu. Identify a single function for the same argument. Therefore, the same MC_SHELL program can be used to program MOVITRAC 31C and MOVITRAC 3000 through a PC. You can also adjust and edit MOVITRAC 31C parameters using the FBG 31C manual controller. In addition to the main Settings menu, a short menu containing the most important functions is provided. The overload program and automatic motor measurement function optimizes all components of the drive. The MOVITRAC 31C converter is typically supplied as a four-quadrant unit with an integrated brake chopper.
This MOVITRAC 31C base unit can be equipped with multiple options to meet the requirements of various applications (except for size 0 :movi TRAC 31 c005/31 c007/31 c011/31 c014, see also “Standard Data”).
