About 8440-1715 SPM-D11
The 8440-1715 is part of the Woodward SPM-D11 series. The device is a load sharing synchronizer.
The 8440-1715 is a microprocessor based device. It can be used in single – phase or three – phase alternators. Synchronizer provides automatic frequency control as well as voltage and phase matching. It can use discrete or analog output bias signals.
8440-1715 Passed Ul/cUL certification and CE mark. You can use the front panel of the device or a connected PC to configure the device. Due to the unit’s microprocessor technology, it offers flexible and reliable operation options, including adjustable languages (English or German), control and circuit breaker status indications, and synchronous oscilloscopes. A dual-wire LCD display on the front panel of the unit allows users to see alarm instructions and operations locally. The unit also provides dead-bus operation (closing circuit breakers as needed).
