VMIVME2540-000 intelligent digital input/output board

The VMIVME-2540 is an intelligent digital input/output board with a VMEbus slave interface that optionally provides 4, 8, 16 or 24-channel digital signal measurement and signal generation capabilities. These measurement and signal output functions are implemented by a series of AM9513A system timing controllers (STCS) and associated interface logic. The onboard VMIVME-2540 native CPU (68HC000 microprocessor) executes board functions by providing a command driven user interface that eliminates the need for the user to program the system timing controller directly. Users can configure measurement, timing, and output functions for each channel through a simple memory-mapped interface consisting of commands, command status, parameters, and return measurements.
