The National Instruments PCI-7831R Multifunction Smart DAQ Module features user-defined onboard processing for complete flexibility in system timing and triggering. Instead of using a fixed ASIC to control device functions, the R-Series Smart DAQ uses an FPGA-based system sequencer that enables all analog and digital I/O to be configured for application-specific operation.
The NI nuDrive accessory is a complete power amplifier and system interface for simultaneous or independent servo or stepper motion control of up to four axes. Ideal for industrial and laboratory applications, nuDrive has everything needed to interface motors, encoders, limit switches, I/O, and other motion hardware to National Instruments plug-in motion control boards. nuDrive simplifies field wiring with separate encoder, limit switch and motor power removable screw terminal connector blocks for each axis. Terminal board installation does not require any special wiring tools. The nuDrive connects to the ValueMotion PCI and ISA boards via a 50-pin ribbon cable, to the ValueMotion PXI board via a 68-pin cable with a bulkhead adapter, and to the FlexMotion board via a 100-pin high-density interconnect cable.
