269PLUS-DO-212-10C-120 is a motor protection system relay as a part of the 269 Plus Motor Protection System series, created by GE Multilin. This system is designed to work with 3-phase motors. It provides protection against thermal and electrical damage to such motors. Specific events that the system protects against include stator winding and bearing overtemperature, motor multiple starts, undercurrent from load loss, locked rotor, rapid trip/mechanical jam, unbalance/single phasing, short circuits, and ground fault. This system includes many key features including emergency start capabilities, pre-trip alarm warnings, 2 auxiliary relays, current & thermal capacity metering, data logging, voltage and power metering, and various inputs and outputs. Included in the inputs and outputs are 12 resistance thermal detectors (RTD), five factory programmed digital inputs, 4 output relays, and 1 programmable analog output. This system contains 10 ohm copper RTDs. The display accuracy for these sensors has an error of 2°C.
The system has packaging dimensions of 16 x 11 x 17 inches, and it has a total weight of 8.6 lbs (3.9 kg). The cutout required to install the front panel is roughly 6.85 inches in width and 10.875 inches in height. Four mounting holes with diameters of 0.218 inches are placed at the corners of the panel. The distance between the holes vertically is 10.45 inches and horizontally is 6.125 inches. The environment that the device should be operated in must remain between -25°C and 60°C. The humidity should be kept below 95% and should be non-condensing.
