Guo Changcheng, executive Vice chairman of China Machine Tool Industry Association and chairman of the Standards Working Committee of the association, addressed the meeting. In his speech, he said that in 2019, Yuheng Optical proposed the NCEC protocol group standard proposal, and the association has demonstrated that the positioning of the standard is in line with the development needs of the industry and the market, and is also urgently needed by current users. The group bid was formally established in September 2020, led by Yuheng Optics, and drafted jointly with 14 leading enterprises in China’s machine tool numerical control system industry and upstream and downstream units of the industry, including Huazhong Numerical Control, Guangzhou Numerical Control, and Kede Numerical Control. He believes that in the process of drafting and formulating the standard, industry enterprises have a wide range of participation and a solid industry foundation. At the same time, he also pointed out that in the critical period of the digital transformation of the industry, in addition to the interconnection of CNC machine tools, the key and core functional components of machine tools should also have digital communication functions, so it is important to establish unified norms and standards; The development of NCEC group targets has laid the foundation for the collaboration between the industrial chain, opened up the domestic CNC system and grating sensor interconnection communication protocol, and hopes to publicize and promote as soon as possible, and get the recognition and application of machine tool enterprises, CNC system enterprises and user enterprises.
