Designed for protection of low and medium voltage switchgear, it can be used independently or with REA103 and REA105 expansion units.
Main functions:
Comes with two high speed, isolated, insulated-gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) output devices (HSO1 and HSO2) for disconnecting circuit breakers.
The heavy duty relay output (TRIP3) is available as a Circuit breaker failure protection (CBFP) jump upstream circuit breaker or alarm output.
Product features:
Adjustable three-phase overcurrent or two-phase and neutral overcurrent status monitoring to improve the reliability of arc fault detection.
The built-in self-check system monitors the operating voltage, the integrity of the cabling between the main module and the expansion module, and the optical fiber connection between the main modules.
After fault detection, the system will lock the module to prevent misoperation.
Optical detection is performed using ring or radiant fiber optic sensors, or lens sensors.
Provides two RJ45 ports, each supporting a maximum of five expansion modules.
Multi-module interconnection can be realized through optical fiber link communication or REA105 intermediate expansion module.
