The Emerson A6500-UM is a high-performance, general-purpose measurement card that is a key component of the AMS 6500 ATG mechanical protection system. The following is the detailed product information of the A6500-UM:
Basic characteristics
Sensor input channels: The A6500-UM is equipped with 2 sensor input channels that can be used independently or in combination to support a variety of sensor types, including vortex, piezoelectric (accelerometer or speedometer), seismic (electric), low frequency (bearing vibration), Hall effect and LVDT (in combination with the A6500-LC) sensors.
Digital input/Output: Contains 5 digital inputs and 6 digital outputs for interacting with other devices and systems.
Communication and data transfer: The measurement signal is transmitted to the A6500-CC communication card via the internal RS485 bus and converted to Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP/IP protocols for further transmission to the host or analysis system.
Analog output: Support 0/4-20mA analog output with common ground and electrical isolation from the system power supply.
Size and installation: As a two-channel, 3U size, one-slot insert module, saving half of the cabinet space compared to traditional four-channel 6U cards.
Self-detection function: including hardware, power input, hardware temperature, sensor and cable monitoring to ensure the stable operation of the system
