The National Instruments SCXI-1104C voltage input module has 32 differential channels for signal conditioning of higher voltage signals. The model is fitted with a 10 kHz cut-off frequency filter. If you want to use the NI SCXI-1104C in a ribbon-cable multi-chassis SCXI system, you will need to use the SCXI-1346 multi-chassis adapter. If the user chooses not to automatically detect the SCXI module, the module must be added separately. This can be done by following the instructions in the user’s manual.

When using the software, the user can connect pins 1, 2, 4, or 19 to the analog ground of the voltage input module. The user can use the pin connected to the analog ground as the analog power ground connection point of the SCXI-1104C. An important fact to keep in mind is that the NI SCXI-1104C analog output has no overvoltage protection. Therefore, applying an external voltage to this output can damage the module. Although the analog output is short circuit protected. The recommended preheat time for the device is 20 minutes and the operating temperature is 0 to 50° C
