SPBRC410 Siemens recently participated in the Carbon data Reliable Circulation (CRC) conference held by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (” CAICT “), and signed a strategic cooperation agreement with CAICT. Based on the industrial Internet identification analysis system and the new infrastructure of “Spark · chain network”, we will carry out cooperation on technical standard development, tool research and development, testing and SPBRC410 certification around carbon data services, and accelerate the construction of dual-carbon infrastructure and cultivate new green momentum. Siemens is also one of the first partners to join Spark’s | Carbon Data Service Network (CRC).

The cooperation with the China ICT Institute is another important measure for Siemens to accelerate the development of dual-carbon in China, and Siemens is committed to building a complete carbon footprint ecological network, based on the innovative technology represented by the blockchain to connect suppliers, customers, certification bodies, etc., to share carbon data safely and easily.At present, Siemens has launched a blockchain-based product carbon footprint trusted actuarial and traceability solution SiGREEN, based on ISO 14067 and other international standards for product carbon footprint as a benchmark, using Siemens’ digital experience and expertise in the field of manufacturing to accurately quantify the product carbon footprint throughout the supply chain.

At the same time, SiGREEN relies on blockchain technology to SPBRC410 meet the needs of enterprises for supply chain confidentiality and data sovereignty. Companies can quickly identify the links with high carbon emissions based on reliable data, thereby releasing carbon reduction potential and effectively achieving industrial decarbonization goals.

In the future, Siemens and CAICT will carry out deeper cooperation in dual-carbon technology research and standard development, carbon emission factor database construction, tool development based on Spark | carbon data service network, and work together to enable green and low-carbon development of the industry.
