The main facilities of the project include a photovoltaic power generation area with an installed capacity of 2100 MW, a 33/400 kV booster station and a supporting switch station, which can help ABU Dhabi reduce carbon emissions by 2.4 million tons per year after completion. It is a valuable contribution to the sustainable development of the UAE national energy economy. The winning bid of the Oman copper smelting project in Indonesia is another major breakthrough made by ABB’s electrical product packaging scheme in the market development of countries along the “Belt and Road”. The project is a copper smelting project with an annual output of 900,000 tons, and the general contractor China Nonferrous Metals Group is one of the earliest and most successful enterprises in China’s nonferrous metals industry to “go out”. In the process of project tracking, ABB team actively communicated with Sinocolor, accurately adjusted product strategies according to customer needs at key nodes, and met the premise of ensuring reliable continuity of power distribution with better economy — ABB provided a complete solution covering power distribution switchgear, isolation switchgear, soft start cabinet, frequency conversion cabinet and bus bar for the project. corcom 6fc10 Also located in Indonesia, the first high-speed railway in Southeast Asia – Jakarbandung high-speed rail project has been completed and opened to traffic, based on the cooperation of ABB and its partner Wuhan Xigao Electric Co., LTD., after rigorous rounds of technical bidding, the project finally selected ABB intelligent power distribution solution to ensure the continuity of electricity consumption along the high-speed rail and the safe and stable operation of the electrical system. The solution includes low-voltage components such as Emax 2 air circuit breakers, Tmax MCCB, dual power switch, S200 MCB, AX contactors to provide overload, short circuit, ground fault and indirect shock protection for the project’s low-voltage distribution network.
