What’s the difference between AC and DC

3. Different directions of current. The direction of alternating current is not fixed and varies with the cycle. For direct current, the direction of direct current is fixed and goes from positive to negative.
4. Different current characteristics. There is zero point in alternating current, voltage wave will produce positive or residual wave, so the circuit can be divided by corresponding arc extinguishing equipment. Direct current, however, has no zero crossing, so circuit breakers cannot be made.
