The IS200ECTXG1A model is designed as part of the EX2100e series of equipment. The ECTX model is an exciting current transformer extension (ECTX) board connected to the EX2100e System Interface Board (ESYS) board. The ECTX model is a child board of the ESYS model. The model is a digital controller that will be connected to the thyristor system. This model usually uses a 28 VDC power supply.
This model has the potential to support a variety of Ethernet local Area network (LAN) communications, such as the GE OnSite support for diagnosis and monitoring, as well as the customer DCS via the Modbus remote terminal unit.
The IS200ECTXG1A model contains a single isolated current transformer whose purpose is to measure the generator current. A third CT interface can be selected between the EX2100e static excitation controller and the customer generator.
