SCYC55830 Material requirements
Use stainless steel bolts and nuts with the appropriate steel grade and property class for
the connection (recommended: A2-70 [designation according to ISO 3506]).
Nuts with bonded coating can be used as an alternative to uncoated stainless steel nuts.
Connection type
The following connection type (see Fig. 6–20) is recommended when a cable lug (4) is
connected to a busbar:
– Spring washer (1) and flat washer (2) on each side of the busbar (4).
Other washers can be used, provided they maintain the required contact pressure.
– Use cable lugs suitable for M12 bolts.
