UNS2980 C-Z.V1 (Material No. : HIEE205019R1) is a modular AC contactor from ABB’s UNO series, specifically designed for industrial motor control and power distribution systems. This product adopts a compact modular structure, supports direct plug-in auxiliary contact expansion, and features a high electrical life and shock resistance. It is suitable for heavy-duty scenarios such as frequency converter control, pump equipment, and compressors.

Installation and wiring instructions
1. Main circuit wiring

Torque requirements: 2.5N·m for the main terminal and 1.2N·m for the control terminal

Precautions
1. Coil voltage matching
• C-Z.V1 is a dedicated model for 24V DC. Incorrect connection to AC power supply will cause the coil to burn out
2. Arc extinguishing protection
For frequent on-off scenarios (> 600 times per hour), arc extinguishing grilles (optional UNO-ARC) need to be installed.
3. Maintenance cycle
It is recommended to check the contact thickness (wear amount < 0.5mm) every 50,000 operations.
4. Fault Diagnosis
• Abnormal noise: Check for fluctuations in power supply voltage (±10% allowed) or mechanical jamming
