The 2090-SCVP32-0 2090 Series glass fiber-optic cable is a SERCOS-based interface cable assembly
form the Allen Bradley SERCOS 2090-Series interface cable accessory family, and it is designed to
provide an efficient and cost-effective interface between the SERCOS interface modules, the Ultra
3000 SERCOS drive system, and the Allen-Bradley controllers. The 2090-SCVP32-0 cable provides
an all-in-one cable interface between a drive and a controller, and it is compatible with the Allen-Bradley
SERCOS Ultra 3000 drive family. The 2090 Series SERCOS interface cable families (plastic and glass
fiber-optic cables) incorporate 200-micrometer (diameter-wide) glass/plastic fiber-optic cables that offer
longer transmission lengths and stronger transmission signals. The 2090-SCVG50-0 cable comes as a
factory-supplied assembly kit comprising a pre-made PVC jack enclosed glass fiber-optic cable, 2 F
-SMA screw-type connectors, and an installation sheet.
2090-SCVP32-0
The 2090-SCVP32-0cable is made from a hard-clad silica glass fibre material that can withstand harsh environmental conditions and which is suitable for outdoor and outside cabinet installations. The2090-SCVP32-0cable has a maximum cable length of 50 meters (1968.5 inches) and an approximate cable diameter of 5 millimeters (0.2 inches). This cable has a maximum bend radius of 30 millimeters (1.2 inches), and a maximum tensile strength rating of 98 N-m (22 pounds on an inch). The 2090-SCVP32-0 cable is designed with an environmentally-protected PolyVinyl Chloride (PCV) jack enclosure and an F-SMA standard connectors on both ends. it is susceptible to damage from twisting loads, and thus it must be handled and installed carefully. The2090-SCVP32-0 cable has a factory-rated storage temperature range of -55 and 85 degrees Celsius, and it has an approximate connector diameter of 10 millimeters (0.39 inches).
