The 2711P-T9W21D8S comes with two (2) USB ports that allow the insertion of a USB flash drive, USB mouse, USB keyboard, printer, and other peripherals. It has an Ethernet communication port for exchanging data with Programmable logic controllers (PLC) and Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC). It has an integrated 512 megabytes of memory and 512 megabytes of internal storage and an additional 80 megabytes of user memory. Its display features a color TFT LCD and 18-bit color graphics, and uses monitoring applications from a remote location via VNC connection. The 2711P-T9W21D8S has a microSD card slot for a quick copy and recovery interface. In addition, the series has special features that allow operators to receive email and text notifications. It comes with a 512 MB RAM and a non-volatile memory with about 80 MB of free user memory. The 2711P-T9W21D8S also includes other features such as video playback support, provides innovative user assistance features, and comes with RDP client features to assist user clients with thin terminals.

It features a 9.0-inch, 18-bit widescreen color display with an aspect ratio of 5:3, a viewable area of 196 x 118 mm, and a pixel resolution of 800 x 480 WVGA. It has a typical brightness of 300 nits and a non-replaceable backlight designed to operate for 50,000 hours at 40°C(104°F) to half brightness
