3500/50 Tachometer Module

Description

The 3500/50M Tachometer Module is a dual channel module that accepts inputs from proximity detectors or magnetic sensors to determine shaft speed, rotor acceleration, or rotor direction. The module compares these measurements with user programmable alarms for setpoints and alerts when setpoints are violated. Use the 3500 rack to program the configuration software for the Tachometer Module. The following configuration options are available: I Speed monitoring, setpoint alarm and speed range alarm l Speed monitoring, setpoint alarm and zero speed notification l Speed monitoring, setpoint alarm and rotor acceleration are of concern

L The 3500/50M Tachometer Module for Speed Monitoring, Setpoint Alarms, and Reverse Rotation Notifications can be configured to provide the ability to send conditioned Keyphasor signals to the backplane of the 3500 rack for use by other monitors. Therefore, you do not need modules in separate Keyphasor Racks. The 3500/5OM Tachometer Module has a peak hold function that stores the maximum speed, the maximum reverse speed, or the number of revolutions the machine has reached. You can reset the peak value

The system has two linear ranges: 16mils (400um) and 40V/mm output, or 8mils (200um) and 20V/mm output.
