VTR-5-NB DEIF Bridge wing indicator

The Pfeiffer IKR 060 is used together with a Pfeiffer Vacuum measurement and control unit  TPG 300.

Over the whole measurement range, the measuring signal is output as logarithm of the pressure.

The IKR060 functions with a cold cathode ionization measurement circuit (according to the inverted magnetron principle).

VTR-5-NB DEIF Bridge wing indicator

Statement one

As early as the steam engine paddle steamer period, the control center was located on the

bridge between the left and right side paddle wheel covers, which gave rise to the names “ship bridge”, “bridge”, and “ship bridge”.

The BRIDGE is a midship superstructure designed to provide living space and protect the midship engine

(furnace) shed from waves. Its top floor is equipped with a bridge, as the command and control of the ship’s navigation center.

The paddle wheels were later replaced by propellers, but the midship “bridge” remained and developed into a modern

superstructure with multiple cabins. The “ship bridge” has evolved into the command and control part of the

roof floor of the warship bridge, which is short for the warship bridge building, including the command room, the bridge room, and the open-air command post.

VTR-5-NB

Benefits

A bridge whose length is greater than 0.15 times the length of the ship’s length and not less than
6 times its own height is a long bridge, otherwise it is a short bridge. Its strength requirements vary
according to the length. The middle of the long bridge is a strong deck, the strength of the two sides of the
side plate should meet the requirements of the outer plate and the top of the side plate, and attention
should be paid to the structural transition at the end of the bridge; Short bridge buildings need to ensure
their own strength and stiffness, and the end structure should also transition. In addition, the head end of the
bridge is vulnerable to waves and should be appropriately strengthened. Since modern cargo ships mostly
use tail or mid-tail models, the middle hull is used as a cargo hold, so there is generally no bridge building on
modern cargo ships. However, the term BRIDGE was used to refer to the bridge control building, and later the term bridge was used.
