The dual-channel relative vibration monitor MMS 6110 can monitor the relative vibration of rotating parts such as small and large turbines, compressors, gearboxes, fans, etc. Use an eddy current sensor. The output signal of the sensor (the input signal of the monitor) indicates the size of the air gap between the sensor surface and the measured object. This signal contains a static component, corresponding to the average position of the rotor relative to the sensor, superimposed on which is a dynamic component representing the dynamic motion (vibration) of the rotor.
