Description

MMS6312  Application:

Dual channel speed measuring module MMS6312 measures shaft speed using trigger gear and pulse sensor generated output. The two channels can be used independently and can be used to measure: – the speed of the two shafts; – Zero speed of both axes; – Key phase pulse signals of two axes, one key phase trigger identifier for each axis, to describe the phase; – When using multi-tooth trigger gear, the mode of output pulse per revolution (independent of phase) to obtain the key phase pulse signal of two axes. Two channels can be used in combination: – To monitor the direction of rotation of one axis; – Monitor the velocity difference between the two axes; – As part of a multi-channel or redundant system. Measurements of this module can be combined with measurements of other modules to form a turbomachinery protection system, and provided as inputs to analytical diagnostic systems, fieldbus systems, decentralized control systems, power plants/main computers, networks such as WAN/LAN networks, and local area networks. For steam engine, combustion engine, turbine, compressor, fan, centrifuge and other turbo-machinery, this system can improve the efficiency, operation safety and prolong the service life of the machinery.
