The EPRO eddy current sensor forms an oscillator with the FRO preprocessor CONO21. The amplitude decutes with the proximity of the sensor probe to the metal object to be measured, and the magnitude of the attenuation is proportional to the distance between the sensor and the object to be measured. The 42CnMo4 calibration material has been used for linear calibration of the sensor and preloader in complete sets before delivery, so there is no need to do calibration during installation. The user only needs to adjust the air gap between the sensor and the surface until the desired signal is obtained from the output of the preloader.
