The ACC-5595automatically bypasses ports when the absence ofvalid synchronization patterns is detected.ThreeLEDsadjacen to each portprovide avisual indication of the portstatus. Additionastatusinoications and modes ofoperationareavailablethrough either the serial port or the Ethernet port.

Status informationincludes the detection of installed transceiversthe detection ofsigna(light), the detection of valid synchronization patterns and the portoperation speed(2 Gb/sl Controlregisters allow the channel
