GE DS200ITXDG1A IGBT Snubber Board

The DS200ITXDG1A serves as an IGBT Snubber Board. Snubbers are energy-absorbing circuits that can reduce voltage spikes caused by the opening of a switch. The switch could be mechanical or electrical. This is an add-on board that plugs into a larger motherboard. The board component is manufactured by GE for use in the Speedtronic Mark V system. Mark V is one of GE’s later-developed gas and steam turbine management systems. It has a fault-tolerant TMR architecture with two-thirds voting on critical controls and protection parameters. The Mark V can be configured in Simplex mode for less sophisticated systems while still providing fault-tolerant control through software settings. World of Controls sells Mark V boards that have been reconditioned and thoroughly tested.
