The IC693CPU366 is a GE Fanuc 90-30 series CPU master module for PROFIBUS DP networks. It comes with an embedded PROFIBUS master that makes it possible for the CPU to send and receive input and output data from a PROFIBUS-DP network. At the front are two LEDs for systems (SYS) and communication (COM) for indicating performance. A 9-pin male RS232 Service Port is used during firmware upgrades. A 9-pin female RS485 PROFIBUS port is used for connecting to a PROFIBUS network. The IC693CPU366 master module requires CPU version 10.72 or higher. The backplane current consumption is at 940 mA for a voltage of 5 VDC. For optimal performance, the storage temperature should range from -40°C to 85°C and operating temperature from 0°C to 60°C. The master module supports the following standard data rates (9.6 KBit/s, 19.2 KBit/s, 93.75 KBit/s, 187.5 KBit/s, 500 KBit/s, 1.5 MBit/s, 3 MBit/s, 6 MBit/s and 12 MBit/s).
The GE Fanuc IC693CPU366 module is a CPU module with a Profibus master device for the GE Series 90-30 PLC systems. The embedded Profibus master device enables the CPU to send and receive data from the Profibus networks. Connection to the Profibus networks is made through a 9-pin female RS-485 port. The data rates supported for the Profibus networks include 9.6 kbps, 19.2 kbps, 500 kbps, 1.5 Mbps, 3 Mbps, 6 Mbps, and 12 Mbps. The battery life of the module is 10 months at 25 degrees Celsius and it is 5.5 months at 60 degrees Celsius. The IC693CPU366 module can be programmed with the Machine Edition Logic Developer software that is the PLC version 5.0 SP1 or later. For PLC C programing, the PLC C toolkit (version 4 or later) can be used. A serial RS-232 port, accessible through a 9-pin male connector, can be used for firmware upgrades.
