Users can connect to this QuickPanel for programming through the Proficy View Machine Edition software (the graphical interface component of Proficy Machine Edition) connected to the RS232/RS485 communication port. The connection to the workstation is established via the HMI-CAB communication cable. Another way to update the Machine Edition application with the new revision is to store it on a flash device (SD card) and reboot the device. The IC754CBL06CTD operator interface has 3 colored LED status lights: amber for OS boot, solid green for normal operation, green blinking for backlight off, red blinking for backlight failure, or completely off when the panel is not powered. Available communication ports are one (1) RJ45 Ethernet port, one (1) RS232 and RS485 port, one (1) USB device, and two (2) USB host ports. One CF card slot (SD/SDHC) is provided.
