The IC754PCMCIA001 device is a GE Fanuc PCMCIA adapter device that was made for terminals from the GE Fanuc Quickpanel product line. This adapter allows a Quickpanel terminal to host optional cards which in turn can expand the operating capabilities of the terminal. The IC754PCMCIA001 PCMCIA adapter can host PCMCIA memory cards which expand the memory capacity of the host Quickpanel terminal and allow it to store significantly more application data than it could on its own. The IC754PCMCIA001 adapter can also host different kinds of memory cards that store different types of data and that are designed to be secure so that power failures will not cause key data to be lost and so that there is no unauthorized access to sensitive data.
The GE Fanuc IC754PCMCIA001 Quickpanel PCMCIA adapter can be installed before it is programmed to ensure that it will be programmed and operated properly. The IC754PCMCIA001 adapter should only be installed in its host Quickpanel terminal system after the system power has been shut off and disconnected to prevent electric shock or component damage. It meets the CE, UL, and ATEX industrial standards, just like all of the Quickpanel terminals do. The IC754PCMCIA001 adapter can operate safely at temperatures from 0 to 50 degrees Celsius or from 32 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit. This adapter can also support several network interfaces that allow the terminal that it is connected to to communicate on specific networks or to be controlled on specific networks. The IC754PCMCIA001 adapter can also support several of the available GE Fanuc Quickpanel PCMCIA I/O cards which can expand its host terminal’s connection options significantly.
