The IS200BLIGH1A is a circuit board component manufactured by GE for the Speedtronic Mark VI series. The MKVI has a PC-based operator interface loaded with proprietary software like the GE Control System Toolbox and Cimplicity Graphics. The MKVI supports Ethernet communications.
The IS200BLIGH1A functions as a LAN Interface-GENIUS board. This board makes up half of the Auxiliary Profibus-DP Interface Module (IS215PBIAH_A__.) This module is designed as an I/O block on a Profibus-DP network to provide integration between the drive and the controller. The other half of this module is a Universal Communications System Profibus-DP board (manufactured by SST Inc.) This module connects to the CABP Cable Assembly Backplane board within the board rack.
The IS200BLIGH1A is built with five board connectors. This includes the P8 backplane connector, the P1 and P2 connectors, which are not defined, and the P3 connector. The UCS board mounts on four standoffs and interfaces through the P3 connector, which is used to transfer all data, a digital address, and control signals between the two boards.
The IS200BLIGH1A has three LED indicators, including two located on its front panel. These two front panel indicators are “OK” and “DIAGNOSTIC.” The third LED indicates the power status of the P5 power supply.
The IS200BLIGH1A has one jumper (JP1) that should not be inserted by the user. It is worth noting that test points TP1 and TP2, as well as connectors J1 and J2, are designed for engineering test use only.
