TheIS210SAMBH2AA is a printed circuit board, or PCB, part that was originally produced by General Electric for the
company’s Mark VI and Mark VIe turbine control systems. Both systems were designed with GE’s triple modular redund
ant (TMR) architecture that offers backups on turbine critical controls and protection parameters to increase the over
all reliability of the system.
The IS210SAMBH2AA functions as an Acoustic monitoring module. When used, this circuit board adds an additional
eighteen inputs to the Mark VI (Mark VIe) acoustic monitoring system through terminal strips located along one long
board edge. These strips offer attachments for two-wire inputs. The board also has attachments for similar outputs. Ou
tputs monitor voltage signals.
The IS210SAMBH2AA is built within a DIN-rail. This surrounds all four edges of the circuit board; however, flanges mo
ve upward on three edges and down on one. Some flanges have been drilled with notches or mounting holes. The bo
ard itself is marked with a number of codes and also includes female connectors. The board is also marked with the General Electric logo.
