Description

IS420UCSBH1A is an embedded controller module manufactured by General Electric and is part of the Mark VIe family for gas turbine control systems. UCSA controllers are a line of stand-alone computers that run application code. The controller is installed on the panel and communicates with I/O packets through an onboard I/O network (IONet) interface. The I/O network is a dedicated Ethernet that supports only I/O modules and controllers. The controller operating system (OS) is QNX Neutrino, a real-time multitasking operating system designed for high speed, high reliability, and industrial applications. The UCSA controller platform can be used for many applications, including plant control balancing and some modifications. It does not have enough processing power, but for some advanced model-based control applications.
