This module is the MMII-PD-1-2-120, a model of the Motor Manager II series from General Electric Multilin. These units were produced and developed initially by the industrial automation branch of GE, and have long since been out of production. Fortunately, our technicians at AX Control have skillfully refurbished and optimized our inventory to run as efficiently and smoothly as possible.

The MMII-PD-1-2-120 unit is a motor control center. This module combines several comprehensive functions regarding control and motor protection. This device is built with a compact frame but is still outfitted with the capacity to provide advanced protective relaying at a lower cost than similar, less effective models.

This unit, as well as the other models in the Motor Manager II series, is built to handle numerous tasks and react quickly if any events occur. It can protect from a possible overload or an unbalanced phasing. Should a contactor fail or a rotor becomes locked and/or stalled, then this unit can detect and run routines to get it under control. The unit is also outfitted with a hot winding thermistor circuit. If the model is receiving a power intake that is below the nominal threshold, this unit is equipped with an undervoltage auto restart.

The faceplate of the device holds the liquid-crystal display, keypad, a variety of LED indicators, and the emergency STOP/trip pushbutton. The liquid-crystal display is viewable under a variety of conditions and features two lines of alphanumeric content. It can be programmed to passively display system parameters for nearby users. The keypad can be utilized to navigate the LCD and adjust settings manually. The LED indicators reflect system processes in-progress, such as when alarms are triggered within the system. Lastly, the STOP pushbutton can halt system function and acts as a failsafe for when users need to manually shut down the power system.
