Instead of a standard, highly sophisticated, “IT-style” firewall that requires highly trained staff to install it, the 9211-ET-HN1 51154724-100 Tofino™ device requires only one field technician to connect the power and two network cables and walk away. Tofino™ is pre-configured to allow only MODBUS/TCP traffic to block all other traffic through the firewall. This also ensures that MODBUS traffic is only allowed from the side of the network where the MODBUS host is, blocking any unsolicited traffic from MODBUS slave stations. The system has the flexibility to protect small plants with a single PLC, or multinational organizations with thousands of critical equipment scattered around the world. By deploying 9211-ET-HN1 51154724-100 Tofino™ devices between Honeywell C300 networks and other MODBUS devices, SCADA and process Control the company provides a multi-layered security assurance system solution.
