Description

kollmorgen CR06703-R is a driver amplifier. It is part of the Servostar CD series driver amplifiers. It is designed for industrial applications including machine tools, document handling, electronics assembly and packaging. The amplifier can be programmed via analog, serial and SERCOS interfaces. The amplifier supports resolver inputs. Single-speed or multi-speed resolver feedback for motor shaft position monitoring. Specifications for the resolver used on the amplifier include 0.47 transformation ratio, 7 to 8 kHz modulation frequency, 4.25 volt input voltage, 120 ohm maximum resistance, 55 mA current, and 2 volts AC output. Cables used for motor to amplifier feedback should be shielded and kept away from other noise radiating cables and equipment. Kollmorgen has tested cables up to 75 feet without any performance degradation.

Environmental specifications for the CR06703-R include an ambient temperature of 41 to 113 degrees Fahrenheit, a storage temperature of 32 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit, a noncondensing relative humidity of 10 to 90 percent, and a maximum site altitude of 3300 feet above sea level. The working environment of CR06703-R should be free from dust and corrosive gas. The vibration level of the CR06703-R is 0.5 grams. CR06703-R supports multiple protection modes, including under-voltage protection, over-voltage protection, and over-temperature protection. The amplifier is set to trip when the voltage drops to 90 Vdc. The amplifier also trips when the voltage increases to 430 volts DC. The CR06703-R amplifier has an overtemperature threshold of 176 degrees Fahrenheit. Only qualified and trained technicians should be involved in the installation and operation of the amplifier.
