This NI SCXI-1125 voltage input module (Part number :776872-25) provides 300 Vrms of operational isolation and low-pass filtering for all eight analog input channels. Its architecture is well suited for strengthening and limiting millivolt sources, voltage sources, 0 to 20 mA, 4 to 20 mA, and thermocouples. This SCXI-1125 can reuse its eight channels into a single channel in the DAQ gadget, while also allowing the user to add modules to expand the number of channels. In addition, the module provides parallel mode operation to extend the output capability.

This nickel SCXI-1125 contains calibration hardware to eliminate error sources. With programmable offset calibration, a software-programmable analog switch ground the input to each instrument amplifier for offset error calibration. The NI-DAQ driver software directly uses the calibration constant to verify the gain and offset errors. The device has an output range of 5.0 V and a weight of 22.6 oz. It measures 7.4 x 6.8 x 1.2 inches.

In this model, each channel is integrated with an automatic low-pass filter, which the user can configure at 4 Hz or 10 kHz. With SCXI-1125, users can perform irregular scanning, which means they can select only the channels from which they need to pick information, and then scan the channels in any order. Each channel is independently restricted, and the operating common-mode voltage between channels or between channels to ground is 300 Vrms.
