Each white triangle in the figure above is the bridge arm of a converter valve. Two conditions must be met at the same time when the bridge valve changes from off state to on state: the valve is under positive voltage, that is, the anode potential of the valve is higher than the cathode potential; The control pole gets a trigger pulse of sufficient energy. The valve will not be shut off until the flow current drops to zero in the on-off state, and ensure that it is shut off after sufficient reverse voltage is applied.
