Board indexers/drivers have excellent control capabilities for high performance requirements. The unit is an optional plug-in that is adaptable and durable. One of the biggest advantages of this accessory is that it supports easy installation. The unit comes with three main circuits, namely power supply circuit, signal device circuit and self-diagnosis circuit. Signal device circuits highlight processed information about the current state of connected sensors and devices. The indexer/drive’s self-diagnostic circuitry helps self-monitor the status of the device when it is powered up. The control board ensures that the instructions are executed correctly as required.
Pacific Scientific was recently acquired by Kollmorgen. However, this hasn’t affected the availability of the manufacturer’s most popular products. Other optional plug-in types for the 105 motion control card series include programmable option cards, I/O interface adapter boards, option memory cards, emulator boards, and SERCOS interface option cards.
