The main functions that can be operated through this communication module are the creation of basic programs to allow data transfer with the Controloix processor and the creation of external device interfaces for special applications. This module is used to connect devices using ASCI codes to the ControLox board. This is the case with printers, barcode readers, or demodulators. The MV156-BAS can be configured as a DF1 half dual T slave or a DF1 full duplex module. In order to transfer data between this module and the processor, the programmer must use a ladder logic, and the sample ladder text is delivered with the device. The device can operate at temperatures ranging from 0 to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit). It has four LED status indicators for module operation, backplane transmission, application and serial activity.
