MVI71-DNP Master/slave communication module

The MVI71-DNP 3.0 Master/Slave communication module is a single slot, backplane compatible automated PLC platform for DNP 3.0 interface solutions. This module provides highly configurable support for DNP 3.0 master and slave implementations (minimum level 2), allowing many SCADA and field devices that support the DNP protocol to be integrated into a powerful PLC platform.
Features and benefits of MVI71-DNP
This module supports DNP subset Level 2 features and some Level 3 features allowing many SCADA as well as field devices that support the DNP protocol to be integrated into the PLC platform. The module acts as a DNP network between the input and output modules and the PLC baseboard. Data is transferred from the PLC processor to DNP on an asynchronous network. The database is defined by the user and stored in the module to hold the data required by the protocol. General specification
