PLX31-EIP-MBS4 serial gateway

The PLX31-EIP-MBS4 EtherNet/IP® to Modbus Serial Gateway provides bi-directional data transmission between Modbus serial and EtherNet/IP networks. Our EtherNet/IP drivers use Class 1 I/O connections and/or Class 3 message commands. Protocol translation gateways are ideal solutions for distributed networks when adding remote racks is cost-prohibitive. The PLX31-EIP-MBS4 Gateway is a self-contained DIN rail mountable gateway that provides an Ethernet port for communication, allowing remote configuration and diagnostics, and up to four (4) serial communication ports. The PLX30 gateway also has an SD card slot for storing configuration files (SD card optional). In the event of a failure, the SD card can be transferred to another gateway, reducing downtime. These gateways also feature a wide input power range (10 Vdc – 36 Vdc) and an extended temperature range (-25°C to 70°C). The PLX30 Gateway includes all necessary cables for communication. This product is available as a conformal coating option.
