PLX31-EIP-MBTCP ProSoft Technology’s EtherNet/IP™ to Modbus® TCP/IP Communication Gateway allows high-speed bidirectional data transfer between an EtherNet/IP™ capable controller or device and a Modbus® TCP/IP controller or device. Our Modbus® TCP/IP driver has multiple client and server functions for faster data transfer. Additionally, the gateway includes features including data prioritization to simplify integration, reduce debug time and optimize performance. This product is available as a conformal coating option.
Features and advantages of PLX31-EIP-MBTCP
Data Prioritization: Multiple I/O connections allow you to set the RPI for status and/or control data, optimizing Ethernet bandwidth.
Includes embedded EDS add-on configuration files to simplify integration and reduce debug time.
Includes SD card slot for configuration file storage (SD card optional). This can be used for disaster recovery.
ProSoft Discovery Service: This utility allows your PC to see the gateway and change its default IP address without being on the same subnet.
Secure module configuration with module switches (v1.04 and later).
Up to 10,000 16-bit registers can be used to exchange large amounts of data.
