The PLX31-MBTCP-PND Modbus TCP/IP to PROFINET Device Gateway provides bidirectional data transfer between PROFINET controllers and Modbus TCP/IP networks. The Modbus TCP/IP driver uses multiple clients and servers to achieve faster data throughput. The PROFINET driver operates as a PROFINET device (slave). The PLX31-MBTCP-PND gateway is a self-contained DIN rail mount unit that provides an Ethernet port for communication, remote configuration and diagnostics. An onboard SD card slot (SD card optional) is used to store configuration files that can be used for restoration, transfer of configuration to another gateway, or general configuration backup.
