ProSoft Technology’s EtherNet/IP to Modbus TCP/IP to OPC UA Server Communication Gateway allows high-speed bidirectional data transfer between EtherNet/IP PACs and Modbus TCP/IP devices while also providing OPC UA server connectivity. The Modbus TCP/IP driver has multiple simultaneous client and server connections for faster data transfers. To simplify integration and reduce commissioning time of Rockwell Automation® EtherNet/IP-enabled PACs, EDS AOP is provided. The PLX32-EIP-MBTCP-UA highly reliable and secure OPC UA server supports 10 simultaneous OPC UA sessions providing access to EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP/IP data from their respective networks.

Features and Benefits of the PLX32-EIP-MBTCP-UA
Two independent Ethernet ports allow EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP/IP to reside on a different subnet than the OPC UA server.
All three protocols operate independently and simultaneously while accessing common process data.
Data Prioritization: Multiple EtherNet/IP I/O connections allow different RPIs for status and/or control data.
Includes embedded EDS add-on configuration files to simplify integration and reduce debug time.
The gateway includes an SD card slot for storing configuration files (SD card optional). This can be used for disaster recovery.
