PLX32-EIP-SIE ProSoft Technology’s EtherNet/IP™ to Siemens® Industrial Ethernet Communication Gateway allows high-speed bidirectional data transfer between Rockwell Automation® PACs and Siemens® S7 PACs. Two independent Ethernet ports allow each protocol to reside on a different subnet, allowing you to pass data between the two subnets without changing each device’s IP address. Additionally, the PLX32-EIP-SIE includes an embedded EDS add-on configuration file that simplifies integration and reduces debug time.

The gateway includes an SD card slot for storing configuration files (SD card optional). This can be used for disaster recovery.
Secure module configuration with module switches (v1.04 and later).
Up to 10,000 16-bit registers can be used to exchange large amounts of data
