The PLX82-EIP-PNC EtherNet/IP™ to PROFINET controller gateway allows you to connect the two giants of industrial automation with secure, high-speed communication. The gateway provides EtherNet/IP based controllers with the ability to control up to 36 PROFINET RT devices such as field I/O, drives, HMI and controllers. The PLX82-EIP-PNC gateway is a self-contained DIN rail mount unit that provides two Ethernet ports for communication, remote configuration and diagnostics. An onboard SD card slot (SD card optional) is used to store configuration files that can be used for restoration, transfer of configuration to another gateway, or general configuration backup.
