The Woodhead SST-IBS-CLX-RLL INTERBUS Master Scanner Module is used in conjunction with the Allen-Bradley ControlLogix series. It has a 850 mA Current Consumption and a 24V Power Supply.

It can be easily installed and linked to the PLC backplane, and it integrates a power supply and data transmission in 1 single flat cable. The interface supports AS-Interface peripheral fault detection for diagnostic purposes and the handover of analog signal values from peripherals. There are 3 diagnostic LEDs located on the top part of the module to signal the overall status of scanner operations, channel 1, and channel 2.It only requires a certified ASI power supply. Slave devices on the network (that can have up to 3 outputs and 4 inputs) are cyclically polled. The total cycle time is always less than 10 milliseconds. The brain of the device is the Renesas M16C processor.
