Each TMR digital output (DO) module receives output signals from the three main processors
The English Channel. Each group of three signals is then voted by a special module of the output circuit. The circuit generates the voting output signal and passes it to the field terminal. Quadruple voting circuits provide multiple redundant critical signal paths for security and maximum availability. Each TMR digital output module has a voltage loopback circuit that verifies that each output switch operates independently of the presence of a load and determines if there is a potential fault. The detected field failed voltage matches the output LOAD/FUSE alarm indicator of the command status.
