Tricon 4211 Remote Extender Module (RXM) 4211N

Each RXM has a single channel transmit and receive cable port. Each of the three 4200N primary RXMS is connected to the 4201N remote RXMS in the remote case. Each pair of RXMs is connected by two fiber optic cables running k baud at a communication rate of 375. The interface wiring for each channel is unidirectional. A single cable carries data from the main RXM to the remote RXM. The second cable carries the data received by the master RXM from the remote RXM. rxm has anti-static function and electromagnetic interference. Fiber optic cables provide isolation between class 1E to non-1E SR main chassis and non-security-related extension chassis.

Tricon V9 features 4210N and 4211N primary RXM and remote RXM Settings using single mode fiber optic cable. The V10 passed the 4200N Primary and 4201N certified remote RXM Settings, using multi-mode fiber optic cable. Both use the same software (see Table 2) and support different types of fibers. V10 is supported
The multimode fiber optic cable can span 1.2 miles, while the V9 supports a single-mode version that can span 7.5 miles. Although both of these RXM sets are qualified, they are not cross-platform interchangeable because they do not qualify as interchangeable.
