Tricon is a highly fault-tolerant programmable and process control technology.
Its characteristics are as follows:
A. Provide a three-mode redundant structure (TMR) with three identical subcircuits, each performing an independent degree of control. There is also a dedicated hardware/software architecture for “voting” on inputs and outputs.

The output module microprocessor provides information for the voting of the output data, checks the validity of the output state through the feedback loop voltage of the output, and can diagnose field line problems.
