First,the type of analog module
(1)analog input module
Analog input module,also known as A/D module,converts analog signals collected from various industrial field sensors into digital signals that the CPU can recognize and receive.
(2)analog output module
Analog output module,also known as D/A module,is simply to convert the digital quantity sent by the CPU of the analog input module into other external devices 1 to identify the received voltage or current information.
(3)digital module
The main function of the digital module is to check the status of the external switch input.Digital input/output signals are switching signals,1 or 0.
Two,the role of analog module
1.The main function of the analog input module is to collect analog signals.After collecting the external pressure sensor,the analog signal collected by the pressure sensor is collected inside the module and processed accordingly.Here the sensor data including voltage,current,thermal resistance,thermocouple,temperature and other analog values,and then transmitted to the computer intelligent module through the bus.
2.The function of analog output module is to convert the input digital signal through digital-to-analog conversion,and the output can be controlled by continuous current and signal.
3.Digital module:digital module has two functions:input and output.If this method of integration is not adopted,more space can be saved,otherwise users need to buy two modules when using,digital module solves this problem,namely:integrated input/output function,one module can input signals and output signals.
